1992

Establishment of WITTENSTEIN motion control GmbH

1996

Product launch TPM highly integrated motor/gearbox combination

1997

Own production and office building in Chicago (USA)
At the same time the worldwide sales network was expanded and the product line extended through continuous new developments

1998 Establishment of WITTENSTEIN aktiv technologies Ltd. in Bristol (own software department)
1998 Product launch of Active Side Stick
1999

50 years anniversary of WITTENSTEIN GmbH & Co. KG
15 years alpha getriebebau GmbH

1999 2nd addition of administration in Germany as well as manufacturing facilities added
2000 Establishment of WITTENSTEIN solutions Inc. in Orlando (Florida facility)
2001 Product launch of Ternary actuator
2001 WITTENSTEIN motion control GmbH was grouped in three divisions: Industry, Aerospace & Simulation and Defence & Special Applications
2001 WITTENSTEIN GmbH & Co. KG was transformed into WITTENSTEIN AG (not publicly traded)
2002 Establishment of WITTENSTEIN AG in Grüsch, Switzerland (System control modules, power supplies)
2002 3rd manufacturing bay in Germany as well as 2 more logistic facilities added
2002 alpha getriebebau, sister company of WITTENSTEIN motion control, was elected as the most innovative mid-size company in Germany
2003 Establishment of WITTENSTEIN aerospace & simulation in Igersheim-Harthausen, Orlando and Bristol
2005 Establishment of WITTENSTEIN aerospace & simulation in Bartlett
